Museum Family Home of John Paul II, Wadowice
This unique place was created in the building where Karol Wojtyla was born in 1920. The multimedia exhibition takes visitors through the life of the future pope – from his childhood in Wadowice, through his youth, to his pontificate. Visitors can see the original apartment of the Wojtyla family, as well as 16 thematic zones with films, photos and memorabilia. The museum combines history with a modern form of communication, offering audio-guided tours in multiple languages. It’s a moving and inspiring place – well worth a visit to better understand the figure of John Paul II and his impact on the world.
